The first time I ever watched this was in history class in high school. We were studying Vietnam and our Coach/Teacher thought this comedy about the Korean War was the way to go. Public school education at it's best.

Watching this made me think that Cutter's Way, might not be the proper way to handle things. On the other hand Jeff Bridges hair and mustache is a more appropriate way to handle things.
