The quintessence of the franchise in terms of action and most complex part in terms of choreography. The segment with submarine is charged with truly cinematic energy and a chilling charm of depth, it is the most frightening episode in all 8 films.
I am not usually a fan of the next movie in a series, but this one was fantastic. Overall a very good story line for a sequel, beautiful cinematography and even better movie score. The action scenes were incredible, I can't think of one thing I disliked. Cruise truly believes he can save movie theaters. If he keeps making movies like this.. oh my. Excellent!
Very excited to see Ewan and Hayden reprise their roles. However, this is probably the only bright side of this show.
It beats me how Disney allows such poor writing. There were some intersting ideas and themes, but bad editing and non-sensical character motivations combine for disappointment. Feels rushed, underbaked and under budgeted.
