One of the best political thrillers I have ever seen. Incredibly gripping film making that has you hooked on the unraveling of the conspiracy. Just blown away by this film.

This was my first Ghibli movie I watched when my gf showed it to me and after rewatching I can really say it is one of my favorite Ghibli films. Just an incredibly lovely and magical film.

Maybe the most captivating and enthralling directing of a movie I have ever seen. The switching between the past present and his written works is done perfectly to really capture this fascinating figure. Absolutely remarkable film making.

The only word to describe this movie is intimate. I just love how it’s shot, you feel like you are peering into their life and it makes it so gripping to watch.
