I’m a big dummy who thought I was seeing the fighting movie based on a video game that has a bunch of WWE stars in it.
Took me way too long to realize this was NOT that movie

It’s not riddled with cliches. There’s an authenticity to it that seems to be missing from all these other coming-of-age type of movies.
The exploration of each boys’ families and the way their friendships simply came to be were entertaining to watch.
Also, it’s hilarious. Apologies to ever other passenger on my flight that had to hear me literally laugh out loud.

It was a 2.5hour horror choreographed masterpiece.
Beautifully gruesome. You won’t be able to look away as bodies move in ways you’ve never imagined. I don’t believe a single viewing will be enough to truly take in everything the movie wants you to experience. I’m definitely seeing it twice within one week.
