this slasher really loved their kill transitions and i don't blame em. i'd be proud too.

"she blamed me for everything her mother did to her" -- *cuts to Squidward gross-up portrait*
i almost landed on watching this for my birthday weeks ago with my family.
very glad i stuck with TMNT: Mutant Mayhem that night. 😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫
Scream VI made a very welcoming follow-up to last year's installment, amping up the bloody kills to more brutal, sometimes gory slaughterings and making the Core Four of these here "requels" a group you'd love to cheer for! for me it's consistently thrilling from the phenomenal cold open to the violent final standoff, albeit when i don't begin to question some potential brain-farts here or there...
anyways, i had an blast and i'm so glad i got to catch this one on the big screen this time!
Denzel Washington should put the energy he uses when playing Rob McCall into becoming the next big horror/slasher villain, just hear me out--
fr tho, this was a surprisingly serene third act to Fuqua's Equalizer trilogy when the story of McCall's newfound community in Italy takes centerstage, assisted with beautiful vignettes and a new composer's noticably merciful soundtrack. i appreciate it plenty but i just wish there was a tad bit more to this movie's full duration. after following these movies since 2014 however, i can't deny that i'm pretty satisfied!
