The Truman Show but pink.

Barbie is an absolute blast from start to finish. It is a powerful blend of self-aware comedy and social commentary that delivers laughs and a powerful punch.

With a production design worthy of being featured in Architectural Digest and unmatched comedic performances, this film raises the bar(bie) for product-based movies.

This is exactly what I hoped a Greta Gerwig & Noah Baumbach Barbie movie would be: a celebration, a critique, and a deconstruction of “Barbie” that never forgets to be the pinkest (and funniest) advertisement I’ve ever seen.

Horror movies are terrifying because we fear that what they depict could potentially happen.
Oppenheimer is terrifying because what it depicts actually did happen.

This might very well be one of the greatest and most important biopics ever made.

By mixing Oppenheimer’s story with surrealist glimpses into his psyche, Nolan creates a movie that is just as murky, chaotic, and turbulent as its protagonist’s mental state.
