A film I admire more than love, but I really do admire Spielberg for making a movie named after Abraham Lincoln just as much about the people around him that made his ambitious ideas possible as it is about the man himself. Helps I guess that it also has maybe the most stacked cast of the 21st century, from Colman Domingo delivering the opening lines of the film all the way to Adam Driver as a telegraph officer chilling with Lincoln.
About as good as a movie about Trump made in 2024 could be, which is...surprisingly good.
