A long slow burn, but the actors faces do everything here. Two orphans start thinking of themselves as parents, with possible redemption to follow, but the structures of power and wealth are too much for them. Left me a weeping mess. Spare filmmaking that builds in emotional power. Sure, the beginning is slow and the characters start out rather unsympathetic, but let the filmmaker take you on an emotional journey.
