I still really appreciate this movie, but its flaws feel a bit more abrasive and noticeable this time. It doesn't help that I went to a screening meant to raise awareness for the canceled Ben Solo movie put on by Reylo fanficcers and populated by Horny Disney Moms. There was a general shared sentiment in the audience that we were all fans of some cult classic hoping one day it would finally get a sequel.

It’s the worst Nosferatu but I enjoyed this by default simply on the basis that it’s a mainstream release Euro-style gothic vampire movie. I still don’t see the point in remaking this other than wanting to retell Stoker’s Dracula but with Count Orlok because he looks cooler.
