Keke Palmer with Boots Riley’s weird style is a great pairing. This is equally outrageous and hilarious.
Also having multiple different animations and filmmaking techniques all show in the third act got me very excited.

Just imagine what a student film version of resident evil would be like and that’s pretty much what you have here. The plethora of simple technical and continuity mistakes are laughable. Also why do they need to specify that 10 minutes have passed with graphics?!
“Do you ever get the feeling that people are incapable of not caring?”
This movie had me crying. The story follows a morbidly obese man named Charlie who finds out he’s on the brink of dying from congestive heart failure. He then reaches out and tries to make amends with his daughter Ellie before his inevitable passing.
I love deep, emotional, and character driven stories like this one, and seeing Brendan Fraser pour out every ounce of talent he had into this role was truly an amazing experience.
