Jordan peele cannot help but have a sense of humor but i like that in horror. i did not see the twist coming perhaps it was obvious but i was distracted by the vibes. 
i had already heard people propose that the story allegorically represent class. the protagonist representing the population of Americans wealthy enough to have a summer home and a shitty boat. centering this perspective,  people who are above many below some, creates an ethically & morally complex protagonist. 
this film capitalizes on their fear of any upheaval of the status quo. the fear of being dragged under…
