I hardly remembered any of this.  I’d love to rate it even higher as there is so much good world and character building but it kinda bogs down a bit at times. Still think it’s a powerful movie by a master filmmaker.

Enjoyed it a fair amount.  First half felt a bit clinical to me for some reason.  I would like to have a bit more time character moments in the first half.  Really dug everything once it got to the city.  I do need to revisit both Herzog’s and Murnau’s versions.

So much weird of off in this one that it becomes a lot of fun as a curiosity piece.  I don’t have enough Godzilla knowledge to say but it must be one of the weirdest.
