i think we’ve established i love a film about a social alien. go is a great coming-of-age story with some killer cinematography, truly memorable characters, and an overall sweet romance. i think a complex cultural / ethnic identity makes for one of the most interesting themes to explore in film. bridging cultural borders and deconstructing the prejudice born from them is so important, especially in today social climate. can’t wait to find more movies like this!
