I enjoyed the movie, it wasn’t as visually huge as I expected, but I think cerebrally/philosophically it was pretty deep. There wasn’t much/any Japanese representation in the movie, which was interesting to me considering well you know. I think Oppenheimer’s personal struggle could’ve been matched with more real life, visual depictions of the terror the bombs caused, which I think would’ve made more profound the reality of the a-bombs’ destructive power and capacity for death.
