deeply lonely. deeply full of life and love. extremely 90s, or at least pre-2000s: the world is permanent, people are ephemeral, live it to the fullest. makes me think about the hours i would spend as a kid, people watching and desperate to know every inch of their lives. i dont know if ive ever loved before and i dont know if i ever will again.
literally cutes. the exact type of kid's movie that's just fun the entire way through. constant good jokes, strong characterization from the mystery gang, a few dramatic moments to exemplify the character arcs, fun side characters, good songs, all at a speedy but not rushed pace: it's just good light entertainment the entire way through. i really enjoy finding these types of light family movies that just work well on a mechanical level, because a lot of the standard disney movies that people have nostalgia for just don't work for me. this does and it really helps me heal my inner kid.
