Cinema is essential. Whether it's the visuals, the story, the emotions they evoke or all of the above. Movies are magic.

28 Years Later: The Bone Temple
★★★★★ Watched

In this second chapter of sorts secrets are reaveled, progress is made and justice is served to the damned. A surprisingly new tone that helps flesh out these characters we met in 28 Years Later.

The cinematography reaching new heights here and expresses the much more methodical narrative at play.
The decision for such bizarre choices made with the characters journeys.

The incredible realization of a determined man of science. Saving of a soul & lives. The brilliant use of music.…

Cloud Atlas
★★★★ Rewatched

Rewatching Cloud Atlas reminds me just how fascinating and captivating it remains to be. Just like the first time I saw it. One of the most unique, genre spanning films I've ever seen. True art and cinema.

Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning
★★★★ Watched

A lot of people have been complaining about too much exposition in the film and perhaps they're right to some extent.

Really gotten to know them in ways which makes the stakes the highest they've ever been. With some light comic relief along the way…

Halloween III: Season of the Witch
★★★★ Watched

What a wild twist on the franchise. I finally saw this and went in completely blind, shock and surprise around every corner. The spirit of Michael Myers looms over this odd small town in a meta form. That was cool how this story is unto itself and the original Halloween is separated. What a gem. John Carpenter once again crafts a masterful score as well here.
