After seeing the Maid I wanted to watch the dudes other film. Even had some of the same actors. Don't blame him as they are solid.

The monster is mostly CGI, and it's average CGI. Though I do like the monster had motivations, that aren't really evil, just animalistic.

Film took some risks on killing some characters. Definitely not a Western film. In a good way. Gave some scenes a lot of emotional weight.

The first chapter is a pretty standard maid in haunted house. So many jump scares they become cheesy and eyerolling. But beautifully shot. I would say standard Asian horror, probably be a solid 3 out of 5.

The second chapter is melodrama, trying to explain the first. Still beautifully shot and the main actress sells it. You start to feel for her . Probably be at 4 now.
