Very disappointing. Despite being visually pleasing, the main issue with this picture is it’s appalling and unnecessary duration. Seeing this in the theater was a punishing endeavor. There might have been a decent movie in there if they had shaved off about 50 minutes of developments that were predictable 45 minutes in. There were absolutely no plot twists or intrigue. A somewhat shallow critique about capitalism and big Pharma in the post-Luigi world in which a younger, cuter, (but still bald) Jeff Bezos girl-bosses too close to the milkyway.
Despite its lack of substance, the movie was adrenaline-inducing and did have me white-knuckling it the whole way through due to its sheer brutality. I left the theater with a lot more empathy for our CEO reptilian overlords.
