This is because the cover very much resembles that of the Tomoyo Harada starring Dentsu product placement/advertising vehicle Take Me To the Snowlandt. This is also…

Give It All is probably the best sports movie very few have ever seen. I love just about everything about this movie. It's performances, its music, its writing, its absolutely gorgeous cinematography, but what I love most from the film-making perspective is its use of ellipses to show the passing of time something I wish more sports films especially those in America would do instead of some stupid training montage with some pop song to charge up the boomer crowd…

Shout out to the localizing translator that translated an old lady saying [寒いですね」into "Boy, a hot bowl of noodles would be great on a cold day like today." That's how you do it. BEst of the movies I watched on my JAL HND to LAX flight. WIsh they kept up with the humor that was the best part. Probably why it petered off during that last third because the overaching drama was not that inately interesting.

He should just kept the idea of this in his head because it certainly did not deserve to be on the screen.

Morita is Daisuke a former boxer now greengrocer who…

Neon nightclubs in industrial ruins. Carnal pleasure palaces bathed in deep tinges of red. Trauma written on souls in black and white to the rhythm of the beating heart. TVs expressing only static to paint ones dreams and kill ones hopes. Angel wings to fly away but forever tethered to the ground. Two lonely souls breaking free in the embrace of human touch and mutual pain.

Words are hard to express why this one is great. If you're a fan…
