First watched this movie in January of 2020, loved it then - love it even more now. Pretty perfect as far as I can see.

Really fun, haven’t seen since it came out and I appreciate it much more now.

A movie that spends it's entire time trying to convince you that nothing is fake and everything is real fails so dramatically at doing so. everything is so one note and over the top that you feel no connection to any of these characters.

The action sequences are fine. The performances are sub par. The pacing, music and aesthetic want so badly to be a PTA movie that it's just sad (unlike this movie).

There is a moment about 57 minutes into this movie where the titular Jay Kelly says “I can’t I can’t I can’t” and gets up and walks out of the room. I did the same.

Unwatchable apart from Adam Sandler.
