Elliot's unapologetic comedy links the road trip genre to the road of life itself. Sometimes we get lost, sometimes we run out of fuel and sometimes we cant hit the brakes. Showing the Australian outback and the drag movement of the 90s, Queen of the desert is a good laugh mixed with some thrilling moments. I love how memories are used to preserve the characters we used to be in life despite the expression we use in the present. Terence Stamp is unbelievably good.
