Some of the most genuinely exhilarating horror moments of the past few years are in this. The whole thing felt really assured and the direction was strong. The design was really something special. Renate Reinsve makes every movie better.

Movie of the year.

After I saw this for the first time a couple weeks ago, I randomly looked on the AMC website and saw that it was getting a small re release as part of their "Fan Faves" thing. So ofc I immediately got the day off work so I could see it again today. This movie worked so so well in a theater, to the point where I'd call it a magical experience. Made me super emotional yet again and the filmmaking really shone to me this time. I'm definitely gonna consider this a future classic.

I loved the structure to this movie SO much; one of the most unique horror movies I've seen in a while. Great performances, great score, great visuals; Zach Cregger's becoming one of my favorites even though he only has two movies. Can't wait to rewatch.
