I almost didn’t buy into this and give it the time, boy am I glad that I did. So many plot twists ! Usually I can see them coming but I was very surprised with this one. Plus , I’ve always loved Amanda Seyfried.
Brandon Sklenars muscles were a really nice addition to the cinematography.
The whole film has this looming presence over it, which you can feel right away. Osgood Perkins does a fantastic job at making a story with such a dark core also humorous at the right moment. I felt the dread everytime I saw the monkey on the screen.
Theo James and Christian Convery are two talented dynamic actors. To play twin brothers with extremely different personalities is not an easy task. Great performances for both young and older Bill and Hal.
