Like a Neil Breen movie, but populated entirely with I Think You Should Leave one-off characters. Curious if the Matt Bennett listed in the credits is the one from Victorious.

If you want to enjoy this movie you have to achieve an inhuman, near-sociopathic lack of empathy for the characters. If you sympathize with Charles Grodin at any point, you show weakness. At this point, Clifford takes out a pair of meat hooks and pries you open like a boiled lobster. Around that point, the movie will become very unpleasant to watch. Good luck.

kinda exhausting, but also great. Definitely a hangout movie, but one crashing through a constant wave of offhanded references to things that never matter to the plot, casual sexual encounters, and the most appropriate Gibby Haynes cameo in film. This movie wouldn't make sense in a world without the "Kurt Cobain likes this band, let's sign them to Capitol." mentality of the early 90s, and it might be my favorite result of it, outside of the idea of Boredoms being signed to Colombia. Kinda Fucked that Rachel True is the same age as my mom to the day.

I need to stop expecting clear narratives from these. Not a dig at the film, more travel advice. Time you spend waiting for plot is time you spend not immersing yourself in the style. a couple of all timers as far as cyberpunk person/entity design goes, I'm surprised the caterpillar doesn't show up on more noise release covers.
