I suggest watching this one and forming your opinion but the execution of this film just wasn’t for me.

I would say this one felt nostalgic but I’m going to be so honest I think I watched this one once and then rewatched the second and third one a million times. Also why did it take so goddamn long to get to the museum part, I was bored out of my mind. Anyway, he went east and crashed is the best joke of the entire film/franchise.
I lowk forgot how much fun this movie is.

I’m sorry Shrek the Musical fans but the weird editing and shaky closeups ruin almost every song. Some scenes get so messy and it just ruins the vibes as a whole.
Definitely miss the music from the original but there were a good chunk of pretty decent songs. Fiona absolutely carried the first half of this movie. Her songs and character are so compelling and it reminds me why she’s one of my favorite characters in the original.
