Distinction between favorite and “best” - though a lot of these are definitely the best.
Wait to exhale. These films have particularly long stretches of tension. My top ten for “most suspenseful”.

All of these films have a lick of suspense, a helping of mortal danger, and people outrunning the devil, in one form or another.
I like them all.
