Childhood classic. 
Everyone in this movie is actually an idiot except the 2 female leads. Me and litara talked over the whole movie icl (mostly me - mb) but we did lock in for the songs - best part of the entire films and I will stand by them for life they are actually good and idgaf !!!

A really promising premising, but I feel like they lost the interest in the second half with the whole celebrity cancel culture tech corp route. I kind of wish they’d stayed in a more surreal reality.

Saw this at the Studio Ghibli museum and it changed my life.

Actually so beautiful. The idea of the layering of destiny that weaves to become your current life, previous life and next life, and every other life onwards and backwards is breathtaking. Like brings tears to my eyes breathtaking. This movie is perfectly quiet, perfectly shot, perfectly understated. Watching it feels like watching dew form on grass as the sun rises. Like it was meant to happen, meant to be watched by me tonight, so I could recieve it as how I am tonight.
Just beautiful.
