Getting to see this in theaters (subtitled) was such an amazing time. This was my second watch and a bit more understanding than the first time and because of that, it deserves a five star this time around. The movie did a great job letting the viewer really feel the momentum between Jesse and Celine, forgetting all about time and only basking in the chemistry between the two, almost like you can feel the weight of the inevitable departure as they see it through. My favorite part about all this was once they split, how they decided to show the spots the two visited within the daylight glow, now empty. A bittersweet ending but one of the more happy endings to some of the romance movies I’ve seen.

I had a hard time wrapping my head around the whole thing, but the talk the scientist had with the therapist solidified my understanding of what the whole place really is and how it’s created but as to where it chooses to appear is still beyond me.
