if i were to describe this film in one word, it would be: impressive. almost every shot in this film is liminal space even outside of the backrooms, it sets the scene for you before the backrooms are even introduced, which i found very cool! speaking of setting the scene, the tiny and intricate details of foreshadowing before the backrooms…
