my heart! now that’s what i call a romcom

shot at one of my favorite chicago institutions, twin anchors, which gave this even more comfort

(watched without seeing dune 1, or the lynch movie, or reading the books)

timothee and zendaya look like half siblings, their bone structure is similar, especially around the jawline. was hard for me to see them as lovers because of this 

it surprised me how i was kinda able to follow this / had a good time. will be watching the first one

forgive me for loving this.....

he’s so hot it physically pains me — the hand holding scene like made my heart race

overall, the cinematography was absolutely gorgeous, this is what i want movies to look and feel like. i’m a sucker for coming of age / ‘loss of innocence’ period pieces too so that helped 

the whole dinner and aftermath scene was brutal & the ending broke my heart further

i feel like reading the book now, it’s cool that it’s semi-autobiographical. there was so much pain, fuck

it’s like trashy sound of music!!
