it's pure slasher, it's camp, it's 80s disco-glamour, it's I know that you did last summer + sorority row, it's revenge served cold, it's jamie lee curtis final girl at her prime, AND it's a randy meeks's recommendation; what more could you want from an old-school horror movie?!

I love watching the revenge arc of a lonely, crazy, disillusioned woman who, after being bullied by men for YEARS, finally snaps back to herself and gets her revenge on a deserted island by faking castrations and killing wild boars. this honestly needs to become a recurring movie trope.

Cast Away's Misery with not just one but TWO songs from Mean Girls. this is cinema.
