lots to like here. looks cool. crazy cast. pretty light on exposition. tom cruise does lots of tom cruise things. most surprising thing about this is how goofy it is. like... multiple very silly slapstick gags in this paranoiac cyberpunk thriller. 2002 baby.

Really impressed with this. The film is deeply attuned to human nature while maintaining a sense of surrealism and glossy unease. A very engaging and peculiar film.

kinda looks like ass but its heart is in the right place and i was not bored.
but the fact this has a 3.9 on here proves that people are willing to give capeshit a pass as long as its competently assembled or remotely imaginative.
