Weird, corny ending to an otherwise fun and well done film lol. I loved the sound stuff and the camera work and colors. Nancy Allen & John Travolta were cute together :>

I genuinely had fun watching this movie. It’s so obviously overstating the message but it doesn’t matter because that’s the whole thing. There’s not some ~ beautiful ~ tortured deep allegory they’re trying to hit you over the head with. There’s just simply no hope! Everything is out in the open. It’s campy and gauche and dumb and gross and fun and of course packed with (practical FX!!!) body horror. The NYE blood scene was the most fun I’ve had watching a movie in a while. Luv 🩷
