I wish he had asked more but it’s an okay doc. There’s so much there. We have suffocated and stripped Cuba of its dignity. McCarthyism is not a movement lacking in casualties.

Very progressive for its time made me cry a lot at the end I love Diane Keaton and Goldie Hawn and Bette Midler. I like how it acknowledges how abusive these men are without lifting a finger. God I hated these guys.
I also liked how complex the relationship between the wives was. They were like actually people.

Amazing directorial and writing powerhouse from these two. Watches like the most uncomfortable conversation you’ve ever had. Roy Gentes gives such a convincing performance as a manipulative and kind of creepy guy. Tess Nealon Raskin gives a wonderful performance as a dissociated woman. 
Real. Palpable. Incredibly haunting. Feels like you could dig your fingers deep into the screen and grab the disgust.
I will be looking forward to more work from them.

Very Snyderesque. A moodboard instead of a movie (once again.) Only movie I have ever checked the time in. You can definitely tell she’s influenced by the likes of Sofia Coppola, Guillermo del Toro, David Ayer, Tim Burton, and as I previously said— Zack Snyder.
I cried at the end because there were some young girls in the front row and I remember being a young girl and crying at shitty gothic romance movies. If this is what gets people…
