No character development. The use of mise-en-scène is poor, to say the least. The script is predictable, and the gore is not strong because it doesn’t come from any real sense of discomfort or fear, it just feels like a shallow use of CGI.
And that opening sequence… please.
Gale is completely forgettable here, and the new generation of survivors becomes the embodiment of predictable, shallow jokes.
