Relieved to have a film about someone mentally ill that doesn’t have a foil to remind us how crazy she is. Really into the intuitive way the story was told, just one thing after another—no ogling or excessive reactions that tell us how we should feel.
She begins the film angsty but she burns it off in her relationship, literally wrestling with her partner who is also disorganized and unregulated—it’s endearing and thrilling, it rides the line. We watch how…
