Good film with a strong message and theme but the screen writing is so awkward. The dialogue was so clearly written by out of touch adults because they tried so hard to be “Yass slay”. They made Vedas character too edgy it just seems to try to hard to be modern teens. This movie was put together like a highschool film project from a student who think people interact like robots. The dialogue at least in English did not flow and the cuts between scenes made it very hard for any emotion to be conveyed during intense scenes. The film does not do the book justice and the acting is awkward. Enjoyable at times such as the connection between food and emotions, but even that clever symbolism will not save the movie. Dr Brown deserves the world and Tita is for the streets.
