Aw man.  What a mess.  

Makeup is on point though.  Really really great practical makeup.  

Everything else though holy shit.  

The last thing I saw Marky Mark in was boogie nights and he was a revelation,  here he is a corpse.  Granted the script doesn’t give him much to work with. 

But Jesus Christ this was a slog.  Boring as hell.

The scariest thing about seeing this movie is that the high school Cheerleading squad in the front two rows couldn’t go a whole movie without taking meaningless Snapchat selfies to maintain a meaningless streak throughout the whole thing.  

It’s not even a long movie.  At least the kids are going to the movies I guess,  even if they’re not watching it.  

I actually thought this movie was really fun despite lots of other people saying it’s not funny at…

Early screening at Alamo Denver.  MINOR spoilers…

Funny enough with a good act zero opening.  I actually wanted more of the kids,  the little time they had on screen was actually pretty funny, not saying the movie needed to be ANY longer than it was though.

Holy shit.  

The most frightening thing is that this is a movie about normal people doing normal mundane things.

Glazer has reinvented cinematic grammar.  

Trying to make a unique and impactful holocaust film in 2023 is like trying to reinvent the wheel,  and Glazer has done just that.
