absolutely fucking phenomenal, genre-bending masterpiece with one of the most powerful scores i’ve ever heard—and rightfully so for a film about the power of music coursing through the history of black culture. a power which vampires are hungry to dismantle and reanimate for their own gain. i’m still in awe.
