fuck. even when you know it's coming, the twist at the end is terribly disturbing.
i really loved the way the story itself is structured.

objectively, it's got to be one of the best movies I've ever seen: the use of lighting and camera work are incredible, as well as the dialogue, symbolism, and deep themes.. but honestly? i didn't love it. it might just not be for me.

loved how it potrays her self-discovery in such an honest and non-judgmental way. Renate Reinsve is incredible.

very cool adaptation of the book. that ending was a pretty brutal yet perfect choice.
