i think the first time i watched this, i was blinded by my own expectations and by other people’s opinions. i found myself trying to dissect the movie before it was even over, and i think that ultimately hindered my first viewing experience.

however, the second watch completely changed how i felt. i went in with a more open mind and less confrontational energy toward it, and i really, really enjoyed it this time around.
