what an uncomfortable and thought provoking ride

This movie is a filmmakers dream.  The one take shots, the layout and set design, the colors, the themes, the score, all come together to make a masterpiece of a movie.  I also appreciate how different viewers can pull different themes and lessons from the ending, depending on the lense they choose to view it through.

First of all, the SCORE IS PHENOMENAL!!

This has been my favorite Studio Ghibli movie since I was a kid.

Chihiro has great character development in this movie as she learns to become a hard worker, be resilient, be independent, and have courage.

The world in this movie is beautiful and fascinating and the attention to detail by the animators is stunning.
