ppl have definitely oversold this movie's whole Fucked Up factor but it kept me engaged from start to finish. it also integrated humour pretty seamlessly! its comedic aspects didn't undercut its tenser moments. i get the impression that curry barker knew exactly what he wanted to do here and i think he does it well. did this blow me away? no! did it lack a striking visual core? yeah! did inde navarrette's performance absolutely tie this whole thing together!
