JUST TAKE HIM TO THE GODDAMN TENIA!!

Ah, yet another Gaspar Noé film that leaves you wondering whether to give it five stars or none at all. But I was surprised to see this already has 45k+ five-star ratings. And I know for a fact not everyone who gave it five stars is a degenerate. They're just looking for something that breaks away from the traditional approach to filmmaking.

Every time I finish a Noé film, I ask myself -…

It is my first pinku film, which is probably why I was expecting more... uh... Eroticism?
But instead, they straight-up teased the aftermath of the Nagasaki bombing in between. And I guess that itself tells you a lot about the nature of this film.

I was genuinely impressed by the cinematography that went into this, especially considering it's a B-grade film. The visuals and the melodramatic portrayal reminded me of malayalam films from the '70s, but this was way better.…
