Species III
★★★ Watched

Honestly, Species III is under rated & over hated. This delivers a lot of the things you want in a Species movie. There’s great body horror, some cool kills, and of course human-alien-hybrid sleaze. There can be some iffy FX at times but again it’s nothing overly distracting. I had fun with this one.

Backrooms
★★★★ Watched

What Backrooms does best is immerse the viewer in a nightmarish liminal space. As someone who isn’t a big fan of found footage films, I actually enjoyed it when used here! I also…

I’ve always seen this praised as a great remake, and honestly I didn’t recall much when inserting my Bluray for a watch.

Evil Dead (2013) omits a lot of the slap-stick comedy that Rami’s franchise is known for, and goes for a more darker and bleak take. Did…
