So I just rewatched Swing Girls… Holy Crap dude. This is still Peak Cinema. This is genuinely such an inspiring and happy movie. I’ve been meaning to rewatch this movie for a while now. I cannot believe it’s been a bit over a year since I first watched this movie for the first time. This is genuinely a Top 5 Movie for me personally. This is actually a perfect movie. Soundtrack is a banger. The Cast are all incredible. Their character arcs are just so satisfying to watch.
Yeah this movie is genuinely good. I really love how slowly absurd this gets. Like it starts out pretty typical. But then there are witch elements involved. Which I was not expecting at all. Backrooms is genuinely great. The Main Standout of the movie to me is obviously the production design! The way they capture the Backrooms in this movie is very cool and eerie. It gave me the same feeling as the Overlook Hotel in The Shining. And the whole Super Mario 64 game. That Liminal Space feeling. The Shining being the creepy vibe. With Super Mario 64 not creepy. Dune: Part Two is a towering cinematic achievement. This movie is fucking insane and next level. FUCK! This movie is fucking perfect and transcendent. It has a perfect story, filmmaking and cinematography. This definitely had more of a Religious Vibe to it while Dune: Part One is more Political Vibe.
