Why didn’t anyone mourn the star athlete at the beginning? His locker should have been a shrine.

I really admire the skill behind the conceit here; it’s very impressive to coordinate filming this very mobile story over 90 min in two takes. I wish the script was a little stronger. A lot of expositional dialogue gets cumbersome at the end.

I saw this at the Lovecraft film festival and the first 2/3 of this is very good. Unfortunately it devolves into over explanation. 

Also, and most importantly, this film looks like it heavily uses AI for archival photographs. I really hope this isn’t true. But if youve ever seen instagram ai videos of spooky 1800s photographs, thats what it looks like. This film needs to add a disclaimer either way. 

Such wasted potential.
