finally watched this movie!! ah, much smarter people who have seen the movie more recently than me have probably talked about kay adams and michael’s relationship with her as something close to the promise of the american dream that only ends up being a corruptible veneer over……corruption/vice/etc…i trust they’ve explored the topic profusely
