I’ve never seen the shorts or got into the lore, but I know the general premise. For a feature-length directorial debut, Kane Parsons did very well. Backrooms was more eerie than scary. Kane Parsons and Danny Vermette’s set design was great. The characters were serviceable. Enough, I think, is left on the table for this movie to get a sequel. I might go back and watch all the short films preceding this so I’ll be ready for potential future movies.

Batman just hanging out in Asia. Being in the GCPD sounds like hell. Batman’s X-ray vision is giving off Arkham Batman video game vibes. I know it’s a popular take but Heath Ledger was fantastic as the Joker. The Dark Knight’s screenplay was so fucking good. Two-Face’s prosthetics looked great. Harvey Dent’s storyline coming full circle was so peak.

None of these guys working have a chest, straight legs, and a head. Everyone needs a bathmat even though I rarely use mine. Not all delivery people are pizza boys, but all pizza boys are delivery people. Peanut kind of hard-carried this film. This felt like an indie video game. Visually looked like claymation even though it was created using Blender software.
