Rarely does a film make architecture the main character in such an interesting and nuanced way. This film certainly doesn't, it could have, but it doesn't. Instead we are centered on perhaps a selection of the two most horrendously underdeveloped and unwatchable characters I've seen this year.

It's the feeling when you watch something that is existing on another layer of art than really anything you've seen as of late and you don't entirely understand it and that's okay. Clearly, I'm late to getting to Lynch's work - and yet I'm glad to be tackling it now in life and embracing it.
